A:A: Full welds provide better connection strength but are less prone to deformation. Segment welds provide less connection strength than full welds, but are less prone to deformation. We choose full welds or segment welds based on the mold's intended location. We use full welds for the base plate and mold frame, and segment welds for all other locations.
A:A: Currently, heat treatment is not possible, and the material cannot meet this requirement.
A:A: The total carburization time is approximately 8 hours, and the carburization depth is 1-1.2mm.
A:A: The entire mold cannot be carburized because the material becomes somewhat brittle after carburization. Areas that increase mold strength, such as the base plate and the surrounding panels, should not be carburized.
A:A: I haven't used nitriding, and currently have no data.
A:A: This is due to optimization of our heat treatment. Q355B can achieve this hardness.
