Brick Mould

Brick mould refers to the mold used to make brick blanks. In the ancient brick kilns, craftsmen used special brick molds to make brick blanks to ensure that each brick blank meets the standard size and shape required for construction. Brick machine molds are generally used for the side walls of the basement floor, foundation beams, elevator shafts, and water collection wells. Because it is external waterproofing, waterproofing must be done on the cushion layer and the side walls, and the waterproofing must extend to the brick mold so that after the concrete is poured, the waterproofing can be turned up to the side wall concrete wall. If the side walls of the floor are made of wooden formwork, it is impossible to do waterproofing, so the method of using bricks as formwork is adopted. In addition, in some places where the formwork cannot be removed or is difficult to remove after pouring concrete, bricks are also used to replace general formworks. The strength and size of the brick machine mold need to meet the design requirements to ensure that it can withstand the weight and pressure of concrete. The material for making brick machine molds is mainly standard bricks. These bricks need to reach a certain strength after being laid before concrete can be poured. The brick machine mold itself is not a part of the engineering entity, but a measure in construction.
