What steel grades do we commonly use for molds? Chinese or German steel grades?

Answer: The inner frame of the mold (the part that forms the brick pattern) is generally made of Q355B steel, carburized and heat-treated. The suspension plate is made of HARDEX 450 steel.

The inner frame of the 913 mold uses HD500 (HARDEX 500 steel).

Some curbstone inner frame plates use HD600 (HARDEX 600 steel). The pressure head suspension column uses 45# steel.

The support of the vibrating and static pressure machine uses 40Cr.

The inner frame of the pavement brick can also be made of German 16MnCr5. Please specify whether you require Chinese or German steel when inquiring.
